ACADEMIC SUMMARY

I recently completed my PhD at the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cybersecurity at UCL. My research focused on detecting and prosecuting financial crimes involving cryptocurrency. I also consult for the UK government on economic crime and cryptoassets.

I previously worked for the United Nations ITU in Geneva, focusing on digital inclusion. After working in international policy, I found myself more interested in enforcement and joined an international litigation firm.

As a legal analyst, I assisted lawyers on government enforcement defence and international judgment enforcement matters. I later joined the company’s corporate strategy department as the product manager for their internal investigations and monitorships and asset forfeiture defence offerings. My roles at this company sparked a deep academic interest in financial crime and money laundering research.
